Salted Caramel Chocolate Almond

Naturally sweet, a little salty, with a chocolate finish- this is nutmilk done right. Sprouted raw almonds are the perfect base for a creamy, decadent drink minus all the guilt. We use lucuma, a fruit native to Peru, for its sweet and maple-like flavor, not to mention its ability to lower blood pressure, boost the immune system, and even protect against cancer. Raw cacao provides magnesium and antioxidants, and black chia adds fiber and protein. So sip away! This is one treat that will make your whole body happy.

So unique! … The name helps sway me into thinking it tastes more caramel-y than it probably does. But I am quickly becoming addicted to this drink! The chia seeds add the gelatin-like texture, but only sporadically. It’s not the whole drink like in chia kombuchas (if you ever drink those), though just enough to trick your brain into thinking there’s some chewy caramel inside.

My first day on a cleanse I thought it was “ok”, but the very next day I thought the exact same one was super amazing. I mean, it’s still a health drink, but by day 2 it tastes much more like a guilty pleasure.

Mind-blowing! I made the mistake of cleansing over a weekend (with lots of plans), and this was the only thing that got me through a night at the movies with my husband. I stuck it in the freezer for about an hour before we left, so it was a little slushy and tasted like a milkshake. It was no movie-theater popcorn, but it was as good as it gets in terms of nut milk!

This was a decent nut milk. Very satisfying at the end of the night and I liked the texture, but a little too salty for me overall. It did keep me VERY full which on a cleanse, is a great feeling to go to bed with.
